Open communication. Let your partner know what you want or are comfortable with and solicit the same information from them.

my advise isn't the same as everyone else's. I suggest you read Penthouse Forum. It covers every type of sex with great detail. The worse thing is to go in uninformed. You don't want your first time to be a bad time. Maturity and open communication are very important. It's hard to talk about sex but the more you talk, the easier it becomes and the better the experience. Just wait until you are SURE you are ready. It's a big step that you can't take back.

Use protection!! You don't wanna catch anything you can't throw back! Just relax and take it slow, communication is also key! Don't do anything you're not comfortable with. Just know that the first few times it will be a little uncomfortable, but after that you should be good!

Do use protection. Do make sure your partner(s) are free of sti's. Do consider hormonal birth control to avoid unwanted pregnancies. Do discuss 'what ifs' as in what will you do if you get pregnant. Do keep open communication with your partner(s) what feels good and what doesn't. Do not regret it. Virginity is meaningless.

If you're not sure... then don't do it.
Do you know about STDs?
Do you know about the possibility of making a child?
Are you truly ready to deal with both of these possibilities?

If you are young, it is likely that it is your partner's first time also. Don't sweat it. Nobody is good the first time.
