Sometime is like : I am going to the park sometime later
It is equal to some-time.That means a little times.
Sometimes is like : Sometimes I feel so sad.
It is equal to some-times.That means a few times.

I'm not exactly sure, but I think 'sometime' is two words. Some time. As in, some time in a day. Whereas sometimes means, for example, a certain thing happens only 'some' times.

The words sometime and sometimes arete similar but what makes them different is the way in which you use the words.
Let me give you an example of how to use them
'SOMETIMES i feel lonely'
'SOMETIME back the situation was totally different'
