will blue eyeshadow work for me?

Question

I'm Asian, but i'm a Filipina- that means I do not have chinky eyes. I have brown eyes, and I've been wearing purple eyeshadow for quite some time now. My favorite color is blue, and I was wondering: will blue eyeshadow work for me? i found this one from Almay, but it says "for blue eyes."

I have no idea as to how this would look on me. Help please :)

P.S. If you have any other suggestions on what color shadow i could use, please let me know. and by the way, i look horrible with brown eyeshadow! :(

i think that it would work for you as long as you do not over do it. my friend is like you too and she too also uses blue shadows but light colors of that pigment and more smoky and chocolate colors. i hope that helps.

if you have a the typical filipina complexion then avoid light blue shadows but if you have a lighter one, then it might. ;] i think the one in the middle would work. oh don't forget this, never match your eye shadow with what you're wearing. well maybe you could but not the exact color. you're gonna look like you're about to perform. lol. just play with your eyes and if you think it looks nice on you, then it works! good luck!

Avoid any "baby blue" colors in eyeshadow. You can instead try a gray-blue shadow or navy shadow. Blue-green shadow would work too. Hope that helps. :)

Try navy blue eye shadow. I also have brown eyes and it really brings out your eyes and it looks good. I also read in a magazine that navy blue eye shadow goes good with brown eyes.

ya u can use the blue eyeshadow from almay. the shades r really nice. just because it say for blue eyes doesn't mean u can't use it.
u can also use colors like shimmering pink or lavender.
