You can blame the KKK and White supremicist groups for that. Along with the view of mainstream America: Being White is beautiful, regardless of whether you have pink-toned skin or blue eyes. If you are of the Caucasian race, you are at the top of the totem pole. What a burden to have...

I'm part white, part African American and part Native American and am pale as can be with silky brown hair and blue eyes. I truly look the Anglo Saxon role -- however, catch a glimpse of any relative and you will see race-associated attributes of our other races, like my mother's wiry hair, my cousins all having gorgeous dark olive skin, and my father's Native American bone structure (cheekbones could cut glass, etc.). Race is a social construct, meaning folks look at me and assume white, which according to their definition, I am, since the definition is based social on people all agreeing whites look this way. It blows my mind why we still have race, after all that we know from the mapping of the genetic code.

Who makes those stereotypes? I even have never seen a pink guy or woman. feels like a wierd stereotype. If everybody ever permit me onto the stereotype committee, i could vote in comparison one. i'm anglo saxon, so i assume i'm no longer bored with a stereotype approximately pink and blueness.

Not all white people are Anglos. Some are Saxons, Normans, Scandinavian, Slavic, etc, and some of us are lucky enough to descend from the Teutonic tribes, like pretty li'l me.
We can have dark hair to the palest white hair, we can have curly, wavey straight, thin , and thick hair, ruddy skin to alabaster skin, brown eyes, hazel eyes, green eyes, blue eyes, and grey eyes.
It is not often that we think of people of european descent as being stereotyped, it is an amusing thought.

Pat, Whoever told you that has their facts extremely mixed up. The Angles and the Saxons were two Germanic tribes from modern Germany (Saxony, to be specific) who came to England in the late first century and populated it. The Angles even gave it their name (Ange-Land, which became England).

Races get strereotyped by the traits which are least like other races. Asians are stereotyped as having round faces and pronounced epicanthic folds but many don't look like that. Blacks are stereotyped as having extremely dark skin and thick lips but that doesn't apply to all black people, not even all "pure" black people from Africa.

You can blame mexican and black supremacist groups. They are the ones who call all whites, Anglo, even though most of us are not. Of course you can consider the source. "The darker, the dumber".
