I'd go with Kinta, he's been around and won't make any rookie mistakes. It's hard to go with Leinart until he proves something at this level.

Look at the stats: Kitna already has over 1000 yards passing this year, Leinart may have 100. Kitna is in a better offense than Leinart (as evidence by the numbers), Kitna is a pro, Leinart is but a rookie. I think the choice is obvious, but if it's not, then Jon Kitna is my starter this week

Definitely Kitna. People are forgetting that Mike Martz is the offensive coordinator in Detroit, so they will be throwing a lot (and they've got some nice receivers in Williams and Furrey, with Kevin Jones and Marcus Pollard for the safety valves)
Kitna has experience and racked up points for Cincy before Carson Palmer took over. Leinart is a rookie vs a tough KC defense- stay away from that matchup.

Leinart has never proven anything in the NFL so theres no reason to ever start him on his first NFL start. I think Leinart is smart and will do some good but he isnt gonna be amazing this start and he will progress but give it time. Kitna has been around awhile and he is actually pretty good if he ever had any kind of team around him (on Cinci before they were what they are and now the horrible Lions w/ no running game). He has done well this season with alot of yds and will produce a few TD's where Leinart will just be learning and getting "welcomed" to the NFL...Kitna easily.

Kitna all the way!!! Kitna is a vet while Leinart a rook. Kitna has experience, Leinart has yet to learn. Lions O-line is a bit more solid than the Cards.

Choose Kitna, I would never trust a rookie starting his first NFL game. Also since its Leinart's first game I have a feeling Denny Greene will plan on using edge for that throwing the ball

i does no longer make the commerce. you do no longer understand how sturdy Lynch is gonna be. he's basically had 3 video games to get adjusted. Kitna is a stable #2 and the two gamers you get, Jackson is injured and it may nag him all 12 months and Leinart would be splitting time with Warner. Arizona is going to apply the two QB's of their video games. style of like Florida utilising 2 QB's on the thank you to pounding OSU.

Leinart has no O line (that was the problem with Warner). But then, against KC who needs one ?

kitna is an interception machine. if he throws one, hes going to throw 3-4. i would take my chances with lienart vs kc. they have a better defense this year but theyre still not that great.
