This question is pretty common for most of you out there with an ipod. So. I got my ipod nano last christmas. I stupidly got the extented warrenty that last for 2 years. and nine months after i purchase my ipod nano (now) IT STILL WORKS!. isn't that amazing? so i was just wondering, if it breaks in the future, maybe in 4 months or so; I will bring it back to apple and asked to replace. Will they replace me with the old ipod nano? or the new one?

Please reply!
Thanks

Ipod policy is like for like - they take your (whatever generation) Ipod and change it for the exact same type. They fix yours and some other schmoe gets your old one.

If your iPod Nano stops working because of manufacturer Fault Apple will replace it!(Via the Retailer under warranty)

However, if YOU break it in an Accident(i.e. Sit on it or something) Then The Retailer is ONLY duty Bound to Replace Like for Like.

If the Retailer is Worthy and You have done Business with them in the Past-Then they may Upgrade your iPod(But this Normally Never happens!)
The best way to check this out is Via an Apple Store!
