I usually speak average, and don't really correct anyone while they speak, unless it is a younger person or my niece or nephew.

I speak as properly as the person I'm having the conversation with can follow, but I'm not the type to correct others.If I can understand what they are saying, I'm OK with slang.

I am average. The only person I try to correct is my wife. She is Peruvian and doesn't speak English as well as she should.
