Sounds like Septicemia and this can be caused by the presence of Parasites which are not alway's seen with the naked eye. The first thing to do is is alway's test the water though, the rule of thumb is that bad water quality=parasites=secondary infections. Not alway's, but most of the time. And if its a fairly new fish, the chances are it had cooties already.
Medicated food such as romet B, Medi gold, are some of the foods used but not alway's available at the local pet shop and generally can be purchased online at places like Goldfish Connection.
Right now, I would consult experts, but get the fish on a round of medicated food and Increase the 02, raise the temp to 78-79* slowly, no more then 2* per hour. You can dose with Prazi pro for flukes and slowly bring the salt up to 0.3%, you do this by raising by 0.1% per day for 3 day's. 1 tsp per gl. rock salt, solar salt, canning salt, AQ salt, sea salt any of those will do as long as it contains no binders, additives or YPS. 1 tsp per gl = 0.1%. Dissolve this first before distributing around the tank and do so slowly, and never in filter.
Prazi will be dosed in two consecutive doses, there are two types of flukes, gill fluke, and body flukes, one is a egg layer, the other a live bearer and the egg layer takes a second dose. The salt will cover several other types of parasites, ich, costia,Chilo.
for more help try GAB or Koivet!

hi, This easily relies upon on no matter if you've a suitable sized tank with a filter out & have carried out your homework-once you've then it truly is possibly constipation from overeating-attempt fasting her for some days, then feed a small volume of cooked, shelled pea. in spite of the indisputable fact that, in case you do not have a 20 gallon tank with a outfitted lid & effective filter out this would only be the top of the iceberg concerning your complications & will pretty a lot truly be the effect of undesirable water circumstances.. each and each Goldfish desires a minimum of 10 gallon because they are prolific waste manufacturers & will right now pollute some thing smaller & it truly is not any longer filtered. you'll prefer to be doing accepted partial water alterations utilizing same temperature, dealt with water-in the different case the pollution will boost & kill your fish. The lnk below has each and each of the files on suited Goldfish care.

I would guess it sounds more like skin/gill flukes from what you've described. Here's an article with treatment.

Fungus usually looks like white cottony growths on the fish.

It sounds like it has a fungus. Go to the pet store and get some drops to put in the water. Go now, or it will die soon.

u might go to zoo shop and buy some fungus medicine and put it into water, cos fungus is the most common desease for fish, but according to my long experience with defferent species of fish, especially with gold fish, i say it won't hepl most probably. also alwys check water temperature - if water is too cold somehow fish catches fungus much faster
