I know of a co worker from cafeteria sit downs, who had a baby from her hubby after they were sepaerated for 2yr. and saw each other one time when she visited his family and they went out for a whlie then she found out she was pregnant after two months , and she moved ans stayed away from this family because she found out he got married to a woman who had three children from her ex-husband. Now the child will be entering school in Jan. and has asked will his father come home from his long business trip in spain to be there for his first day of school what to tell her to do tell him of child or keep up the story she tols her son a long time ago this man is not aware he even has a son.please help so I can helpher..

She is afraid to tell him because the family is very, very well off and they might want to take her child away because she is just a working mom and can not give him all they can and his new wife is just as well off and she can fight to take the child away because she is married to his father and can give the child all that my friend can't

It is not me I have a grown son of age and his father passed away this year and he knew his dad all his life and loved him with all his heart & me too.

i think the man has the right to know he has a son. and i think that the son should know the truth about his dad. the mom should call the father and tell him and see what happens from there. if the man doesnt want anything to do with the son, then just tell the son the truth or keep the lie going or think of a diff one.. but i think the mom should call the father and see what happens from there.

Is she afraid to tell him about his son for a certain reason?...She needs to tell him...she needs to allow her son to see his Father...She was Married to this man once.....I think he deserves to know about his son....Obviously, he wasnt too bad of man if they saw each other for awhile AFTER they seperated....
I think she needs to come clean...if for no other reason...she owes it to her son....if nothing else...she can get child support from him....
