protection, and the update says that I have the incorrect settings and that I'm not corrected to the internet. Well, if u get this- then I'm connected. Let's work on the settings, please. Windows XP. road runner---- please help!

broadband and high speed are generally the same thing, though your Internet Service Provider may have their own way of wording different packages. The word "broadband" just means that more information can get through the lines at one time which makes it "high speed". See also:

no difference. Cable is slightly faster than telefone co provided ISDN... but they are both highspeed/broadband.

the alternative is dialup... the old modems.

Broadband and is High Speed
