If they trade him, then they will have "cleansed" the team of all Scott Boras Clients.

Willy shows a great deal of talent but even for a rookie he makes so many bone headed plays. I've seen him cost the Astros a game twice with really stupid mistakes. One a base running error that would have got him yelled at if he were a little leager.

Boras clients are a deficiet to the team. Boras has a way of pumping his clients up. Making them think they deserve to be pampered and paid way more than they are worth. The Astros have a pretty harmonious club house and a history of getting players to resign for far less than the market value. Willie however doesn't seem like the kind of player who will talk anybody into doing anything. He is I suspect a leadership void. So it's reasonably safe to keep him aboard. The better he does the better his trade value when Boras finally forces the Astros to trade him or let him go as a free agent. His upside is high. The guy is fast, when he's on he can hit. If he can keep his mind in the game he can be a top notch center fielder.

I'd say keep him until there's no choice but to move him and hope he decides to dump his agent rather than Houston.

I know many like Scott Boras but if I was a manager of a team with one of his clients I would trade that person in a second.

Keep Willy T. He could be special, he is a very young player who shows alot of capabilities and has even progressed alot. He has great speed, speed never slumps. He is a very good defender as well with a strong arm. We need a good mixture of speed/power and he helps provide that. He can bunt as well which is a big plus. Luke Scott can replace Jason Lane IMO.

They probably ought to negotiate an extension with him. He has amazing speed and is a good hitter. He can give the Astros a solid leadoff hitter for years to come.

If they can get a few more good players in a trade then let him go. One player doesn't get a team to the WS.
