I started dating my girl friend in June of 2002.It started off rocky because she still missed her ex boyfriend who had broken up with her March of that same year.She seemed like she did not know what she wanted for that six months, then she finally decided she wanted me (so she says).Things were fine until I left for college, when I came back home May 2005, I found out that she had cheated been cheating on me for a month with someone who came out of the blue (who was not her ex boyfriend). My friend had saw her at wal mart with the guy and as soon as he told me, I left and confronted her.She broke up with me when I found her.I was moving on and then she came back and said the new guy had treated her like crap and she wanted to get back with me.I was very reluctant at first but then after much talking I decided to give it a shot. This was August 2005.She hasn't cheat yet its been over a year but I can't get last year out of my head. Should I try to work it out or should I break it off?

You need to break it off.
I don't see any reason to stay together. Make a pro con list if you want. Maybe if you see it on paper it will help.
Sounds like she will break it off with you if she ever finds someone better. She came back to you bc she was treated like crap? Sounds like you are her good enough for now guy. You don't want to be that guy. don't wait for her to break it off, you do it. Now.

I am sorry to tell you but I really think she's using you. It's obvious that she uses you as a rebound from the beginning. You were always around when she's hurt or treated like dirt. You put her up on the pedestal and she took you for granted. Once a cheater always a cheater. and it seems like she doesn't see any faults from cheating on you. If you keep thinking about what happened last yr I don't think you get get over it. If I were you I would boot her out of your life. You sound like a great guy and appreciate someone who loves you for who you are. There are so many great girls out there who will appreciate you much more than your cheating gfriend. You may try speaking to her about it but I don't think she will admit what she did was wrong.

Well, seem like if she can find a "better" guy she will forgo u. After a while, when that "better" guy is not what she want then she will go back to u. To try or not will depend on u. If you have been unable to get what happened out of yr mind then maybe u could forget about it. Just don't rush into any decision.
