It's going to be a handful that's for sure. I have a friend who is 9 months younger than their older sister and she has a brother who is 9 months younger than her.
It is ultimately their choice, if they're happy, than be happy for them. Health wise there is no serious problems that normally occur with having children so close together.

It happens. Lots of people have kids one after the other. It's not the BEST circumstance for the body, since the uterus needs about 2 years to shrink back to its pre-pregnancy size, but it won't really hurt her either.

If she's up for it, that's great! She'll probably be VERY tired having 2 newborns so close together, so rather than judging her decision to have more kids, be there to support her and offer any help she might need!

She should be absolutly fine. My brother in laws are 364 days apart and my Dad and Uncle are 11 months apart. A womans body is made to have children. Remember that women have been doing this stuff for thousands of years and they had children one after the other and they didnt have technology or doctors back then. Your sister and her new baby will be fine.

no........... i mean they say it takes up to a year for your body to fully recover after having a baby but your sister isn't the first or the last to do this. There are many people with kids 9 or 10 months apart. she;ll be fine and so will the baby. just be happy for her. the easiest time to get pregnant is right after you've had a baby.

I don't really think it is bad only cause I have a 10 month old and am now 22 weeks pregnant. I also have my 3 step sons living with us who are ages 6,4,and3. But health wise they advise you to wait at least 18 months.

it's way to soon. By any chance did they have 3 in a row? If the all the children so happen to be 10 - 24 months apart, she could be putting her health at risk.

if she didn't have any problems with her other pregnancies then she should be fine and I've know lots of people to have children very close in age. I wouldn't worry about her health unless the doctor says there is a reason to worry

No its not bad. It will be a lot of work for her and the father and likely you and your family, but its not a bad thing. These kids will grow up very close in age and, if supported to, will be best friends.

the dr told me- when a woman dialates it takes a year for it to close completely- that its possible to miscarry, go in to labor before its time, baby could have health issuses.... ect... tell ya what --sit her down tell her you are scared for her- and ask her to ask the dr when she goes what things she should worry about since shes only had 5 months.... that should work---oh and i said possiblity that doesnt mean those things will happen....best of luck to you your sis and the baby!
