I heard a few years ago on NPR that there was this type of candy that contained the neurotransmitters for sound (or larger chemical units that broke down into those neurotransmitters), and that the eaters would hear musical notes when they ate the candy. Has anyone heard about this?

I know a girl who was talking about a sucker with capabilities like that. Maybe that's what she was talking about. I'd rather just have a sucker and turn on the radio.... that way when I need to take a break from the lollipop and I don't want to miss my song I'll still be able to listen.

Wow that would be awesome, but I doubt it ever existed. The closest thing i ever ate to musical candy was thoses stupid whistle pops that came with notes that u can play. They sucked thought because into the first minute of sucking it, u could not play a song anymore : (
