Hi Tough...This is a great question. I think many people will say yes, sure, of course! Let's really look at the truth. It is our animal instincts to be selfish. We can try not to be but we are all self centered. To love unconditionally you must love with out expecting ANYTHING in return..ever! No one can say YES to this question. If you love your partner, you expect the return of love. If you love a god, you in turn want to be admitted into heaven or the promised land. We are animals that want and need. So the answer is NO!

Unfortunately Yes, I do love unconditionally. But, step by step I have got feeling that in this fast life, especially time of short relationships. It’s not worthwhile. It’s very painful.. Very hard.

With family members, it's a struggle but damned if I don't try. I have yet to find a man worthy of receiving that kind of love from me. But, then again, I myself am so very flawed, it would take someone capable of overlooking numerous "conditions" to love me. I like to think I'm capable of it, though. I'm eager to try, and I think that counts for something.

I do love my children unconditionally
but you can't do that with a husband/wife etc it doesn't work
because there are to many ways how they can hurt you etc plus if they turned out to be criminals etc or unfaithful & the list goes on & on so
no!! i don't love my hubby of many many years unconditionally but i love him as long as he is kind & loving back to me

True love, yes.

Pets love unconditionally, no matter how many times you call your dog "stupid" or yell at him, he will run to meet you at the door to lick you to death with happy bright eyes and a wagging tail. :)
