I think the big boys in front of him are keeping him clean to make tackles. He already got away with murder once....so he might have got that out of his system.

He never lost it, he just got injured last season. In my opinion he is the greatest linebacker to play the game, and by fat the greatest one in the nfl today, but not only that, I am a Ravens fan and i have to say that the whole defense is having an amazing season, ill say they all got it back. here is a quote i picked up today from Mike Shanahan about Monday night´s game:

"When you take a look at their defense - you can go back to 2000, too, with the Super Bowl - their defense had dominated every team in the playoffs," affirmed head coach Mike Shanahan, who is generally an understated speaker. "You look at the defense this year and statistically, they are even better than that [2000] team through a quarter of the season.

Through one quarter of the season, however, the Ravens of 2006 have their predecessors beat in at the same point. The 2006 unit has given up 118 less yards (876), 22 fewer points (33) and tallied two more interceptions (12).

Ray is an excellent player, no doubt. Very gifted physically, a good leader, etc. Personally I can't get over the murder rap of which he was acquitted, and his pregame stuff shows he is not a team player. That act would never fly on the Patriots.

yes but I wouldn't call it that hes getting comfortable hes happy with his team now and hes free to play his kind of football he has some big line in front of him making him even harder to block so now hes free to be in coverage and kill running backs so hes back to being a killer but I don't think he ever lost the instinct
