OK...Lets assume that you are famous for some good reason or another, and you have been famous for awhile and the freshness has worn off.

Do you think that strangers would feel you are nice or mean if you had to constantly deal with people bugging you.

For example...

1. While you are minding your business dining out and people are bugging you for an autograph and snapping photos of you while you are trying to eat.

2. When you are at home, and a helicopter is circling in the distance with a guy hanging out the side with a telephoto lens trying to get a snap of you.

3. When strangers are digging through the garbage looking for stuff you threw out to sell on Ebay.

4. You can't drive around without a bodyguard nearby because people are bugging you no matter where or when you go out.

5. You get all kinds of weird mail, and weird stuff and threats in the mail.

SO, after awhile, would some of those things wear thin on you and make you grumpy...or what?

To answer my own question...I would probably be seen as tough, friendly but not all that nice. I think I would be similar to Frank Sinatra or Eminem, the kind of guys who would punch out someone who was giving them a hard time but be kind to those they trust.

I am nice.
1. I ask for a private booth when I go out.
2. Close the shades
3. knock yourselves out - I shred the important stuff
4. Move out of California and to a normal state
5. Have an agency filter my mail

I'm rich - right! I'd laugh all the way to the bank!

When I first became famous,of course i'll be nice.I'm a nice person after all,but when the novelty wears off,i'll try to obliged my fans in anyway i can.Unless i'm having a bad day or when i'm really irritated. That's when i think enough will be enough.like what u said in #2,that's so fugging irritating. But that's the price u pay for being a celebrity. I don't have to be nice all the time. It's not like it's gonna change the world or anything.Either i'll find a way to avoid these people or go hide somewhere.Oh yah,i'll wear sunglasses and hats.as for #3,i'll write sumthing like "these people want to sell my stuff on ebay".

I'm sure I'd be seen as a b#&%$.. not intentional but that would become so annoying and exhausting. Guess it would grow on you though, to some degree, after all, you'd be a celebrity. I'm sure there are some methods that could keep you grounded, and remain humble.. after all, so many dont' let it get to their head,, some do,/some don't..but with the way I speak my mind, and if someone was overly aggressive, I'd have to stand up to them at some point! They only need one good frenzy out of you to determine if you're a nut anyway, lol.

That's funny...digging in trash to sell on E-Bay.....LMAO......!!
I would be seen as both. I'm not a pushover, but I wouldn't be
rude to my "fans" for anything. They made me successfull. If not
for them, I would not be where I am. ( Hypothetically) And I
would maybe ask them to wait till I finished my dinner, and meet
me outside. It all depends. But I would do it regardless of any
situation I was in. Every celebrity knows....to always expect it.
So, why be rude ? These are people who look up to you?.....
I don't know....that's just the way I am. Bodyguards help...if you
REALLY want to be left alone.

in case you had someone are available in to do your hair & face & a stylist on your dresser accepted, properly, i guess even Idi Amin might want to look like Paris Hilton (she's no longer distinctly, i don't think of).

Definitely! Why do you think Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are screw-ups?
People shouldn't really care about those overated, overpaid celebrities.
