This all depends on the kind of man he is. The injury is just a forcing a decision you have to make. Would you stay with him if he was healthy and a provider? So what changed. The only reason to leave is if you would have left anyway, or the situation was bad for the kids.

At 26 I was diagnosed with disentegrating hips from a fall that broke my tailbone and destoyed the nerves that control blood to my hips sockets. I ultimately had them both replaced with Titanium. If you love him, money isn't the number one thing. Health is more important. You could help him more to stay and be a guardian angel. He will certainly feel less a man, but giving up on him will surely bring him to or further into depression, depression makes pain worse and heart break can kill ya. Stick with it for a while and see what kind of man he will be if he can't take a full time or part time job. Maybe it will work out the best that he stays at home. HOME WORK is a full time job especially, most especially if there are children. Good Luck....email me from my personal website http://home.comcast.net/~yopd/index.html

Any woman that leaves a man because he's injured is a very bad person.. If he has a problem with constantly getting into fights with other men and getting injuries then that may be a problem for a relationship, but it sounds like you are no better than him if you are considering leaving him because he's hurt and can't work his chosen career. He should be looking for something that he can do though.

It did happen to my husband...injured his back at work and had to take a disability retirement at 45. He's also had two major car accidents leaving him with some pretty bad injuries (he's currently 51). We have been married for 13 years and I have stayed by him. Why would I leave him? I love him. For better or for worse. He's still mending from his most recent car accident (head on collision) on 9/14. Nothing redefines your relationship faster than seeing the one you love strapped to a bucky board. It's frightening.

If he hurt his back really bad he could get disability. I would be more upset that he got into a fight. If he was hurt in a automobile accident and hurt his back and could not work then I would stay with my husband. You are suppose to stay with your husband through thick and thin for richer or for poorer. I would be upset though if the man was just lazy and said he hurt his back. My sister had a husband that said his back hurt and he could not work but when it came to fun activities his back was ok. I would leave if he was like that.

I would stay with my man! I love him and married him because he is the one I want to wake up next to for the rest of my life. Things would be okay and I would work so that I could support him and our family. He has supported me for a few years why couldnt and wouldnt I support him. He has taken care of me so well! I would love him no matter what and could not imagine my life without him in it.

Of course I'd stay with him. We're a pull the plug family, but if he is just stuck indefinitely on the couch, I'd keep him around of course. I'd also be getting some good vibrators.
How could you even consider leaving? Who cares how he got injured? And what if you were the one stuck in bed?

I take marriage very seriously..."in sickness and in health.." Love is priceless. It is reality but disapointing in life when a bad choice messes up things for years or maybe a lifetime. If you love him, support him. It wont be easy!!!!!!!!!!!!! But through the troubled and also the good times and memories, your bond and relationship will continue to become insepreteable. "Love your neighbor, as I have loved you." Best wishes for your relationship with the love of your life.

If you truly love someone you will stick by his side no matter what...Good or Bad. If the man I truly Loved was in a situation such as this it would be the time he needed me by his side the most. So my answer would have to be I would defiantly stick by his side and stay with him.
