There are no restrictions, but they need vias to visit most of countries.
Exceptions - Russia, Belarus, Moldova
Possible exceptions - other CIS countries, smaller countries.

You do need a visa to enter any EU country including Crete (the Greek part at least). There was a brief period, when visiting Poland, Czech republic etc. didn't require a visa (they were not EU memmbers) - not any more!

It's much easier for foreigners to visit Ukraine. E.g., U.S. citizens don't need visas anymore to visit Ulkraine.

I know that a Ukrainian Citizen can visit Jamaica (the Visa is obtained at the port of entry for $20.00US. Ukrainian Citizens can also visit Antigua, Barbados, Barbuda, Grenadines, and St. Lucia. The problem I have discovered is getting my mother-in-law (who is Ukrainian) there without landing in the US (which requires a transit visa which I am told is as difficult to acquire as a standard US B-2 visa).

My question is: Does anyone know of any European Countries a Ukrainian can visit without a visa? I heard Crete is a possibility. Can anyone confirm?

Any country as soon as they have valid visa and meet all required procedures and documents of the country.
No restrictions specifically for Ukrainians!
