If it's pitch dark, then hell yes. i hate not being able to se anything at all. Regular dark, with moonlight coming in the windows or streetlights, no.

No. What I am a little afraid of is hitting the corner of a piece of furniture in the dark because I was too lazy to go put the light on.lol

I wasn't afraid of the dark until I spent time in West Virginia, and now my wife and I are both afraid of the dark because of our experiences there.

Yes. Since I was a little girl, I had to have a night light. I still have
to have a light on. I don't know if it was cause, a stranger broke
into our house one night, my bedroom door was open, and I
saw him going into my parents room ( I was 6 or 7 ) and I was
petrified that he would do something to them !! And me. So, I
just lay there, hoping he would just leave. Thank God he did, but
he stole my parents rent $. I was afraid if I yelled to warn my
parents, at the time, the intruder would go off , ever since then..

As bad as it may seem, yes, I'm still very much afraid of the dark. All it is is a mixture of our lifes culture and our imagination going wild, such as movies we've seen, books we've read, ect. I try to tune it out and sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Just depends onalot of factors I guess.

Depends where I am at. Walking through a bad neighborhood at night yes. In the mountains with wild animals around at night than yes. Any other time no.
