Call the "Do Not Call Hotline" to register 888-382-1222, or go to the website www.donotcall.gov

Yes you can register your phone number with the "National Do Not Call Registry".... I did it about a year ago and the unwanted solicitation phone calls have stopped. It actually works. Google it, you'll be glad you did.

If you live in the UK you can get your name added to the opting out list with, I think, BT. If you still get some, as you no doubt might, that company can be reported and fined a max of £5k.

go to national no call list and add your number to it, they will stop calling
