I have heard a lot about it, but I'm still not sure exactly what is going on over there. Please explain.

The same as it is in Iraq, really bad, and as an added bonus if Bush tries to go over there and help out, more people will b**** and moan that he is wasting American soldiers lives on a hopeless situation. Now if you want numbers, what I have heard is 400,000 people are dead and 2.5 million people have been displaced. Now, if Bush were to decide to put resources there, meaning military personnel and accessories,please tell me if you think that my first statement wont come true. I mean the last time he tried to help a country that was being slaughtered by its own government people started calling for his head.

Contrary to what the libs on here would like you to believe, it is the liberal media which has kept Darfur in the dark...
US News & World Report has covered the issue as it is ongoing...
It is genocide, and it is horrible. This is a UN public relations disaster, and the US should not shoulder this blame...
The factions are Islamic...

properly it has no longer made huge information at the moment meaning issues are calmer than they were many years in the past. i truly am observing this complete Zimbabwe challenge play out also Somalia particularly warm immediately Darfur is previous information, the UN is to scared to do some thing and they are waiting on the AU to deliver in extra troops, time will tell.
