Oddly enough this simple matter of semantics is part of why I think the American Public is in no rush to have a female President.

First Gentleman seems appropriate, unless by some act of Deity it is Bubba then all bets are off(like intern's panties)

Well, I guess, you could call him whatever you want, but, I would call him First Gentleman. But, only if he was one. I just hope Hillary never makes the presidency cause I don't see how Bill Clinton could ever be considered a gentleman. Maybe a ladies man, but, certainly never gentle...

Jokes aside, I think we will flounder for a good title, then use First Gentleman anyway. It doesn't have the connotation in our sexist language that First Lady does, but we will use it.

My favorite joke? That Madam President will refer to him as The First Man.... but only if he really was.
