My 5 yr old daughter named our cars. Our Dodge Neon is only known as Herbie and our Saturn is called Lulu. I dont know why.
A good name for a gold car would be Midas. Did u have read the story Midas and the golden touch..? Midas would be cute.

'Raphael' (1979 Pontiac Grand LeMans)
'Gabriel' (1989 Chevrolet Celebrity)
'Patience' (1988 Buick Regal)
'Charm' (1999 GMC Sonoma)
For your truck I'd suggest a classic sounding name, like Apollo. But it all depends on what kind of impression you want to make.

depends on what u think of your car, not what others think. If you think that your car is the best thing in your life give it a respectable name. If its just a piece if metal on four round rubbers den give it what it deserves.

I named my cars based on their "personality" how it made me feel.
I'm still trying to find out what happy car means in Japanese. I have a Honda Accord.
