You want an alternative to the corrupt politicians, because of their corruption. I am afraid that will not solve the problem of corruption. The alternative to the politicians also turn out to be corrupt, which is most likely, you may seek out for another alternative or you may want the politicians back. The problem lies in creating conditions for dismantling corruption at any cost, at every level. The society should be totally corruption free.

There is always an alternative, in effect all educated people should use this platform for educating uneducated people to refrain from voting the power and money hungry politicians.
Educated people should mobilise themselves and do rounds of the local villages and tell the masses what their current leaders are up to, a slightly dagerous task taking into account that most in power now have a lot of clout among the police and also their own private armies of gangsters.
At present the people from slums, lower class societies vote, expecting things to become better for them, well they have to be told that theirs is only a dream, no politician keeps his / her word, ever.
If the Youth and educated people do not mobilise then there is no alternative future for India but continue with corrupt politicians that are there now, also their kids inherit their parents kingdoms.
Major change thats needed is that NO one has the right to inheritance just because they belong to a certian family / name.

There certainly is provided we choose to elect them. Quite extraneous consideration other than good governance goad us when we enter the polling booths. When we press the button nobody guides our hand . We could vote for the Devil or Christ. It is upto us but when we are standing in front of our own conscience we manage to escape his gaze and do what we want to do. And then blame the devil we have sent up but evil is the nature of the devil. And then we deprecate them instead of squarely accept our blame. As they say a people get a government they deserve. The frogs ask for a stork who would eat them up and blame god for it.
In fact I am proud of our politicians. It is they -their pioneers- who were so endowned that they could think of managing such a diversified country on democratic line.A British author had remarked ," I don't know whether the Indian experiment would fail or succeed. But even if it fails people who would come thousands of years after would find it hard to believe that there did exist such endowed people who could think that a country full of such contradictions could be administered on democratic lines. And let us hand it over to the politicians even if they have erred, and blundered the Chariot of Jannath of Indian Democracy has been ploddly along on the marked path .Any attempts to waylay it have been nipped in the bud.
This is because ,with all our shortcomings, we want somewhere deep down within us that this experiment should not fail. When we find that the ruling party is going astray we quietly ease it out and replace it.But as they say eternal vigilance is the price of freedom. We cannot slacken our watch.

At precent the condition of indian politics is not good for the contry. IF the people desided to vote to the right qualified candidates without considering the political parties. Now a days political parties in india is looking for their benifit from the politics and to use their power to earn more and more. almost all the politicians are looking for power for their own growth. They thing the politics as a job. But it is a secvice to the nation and people.
if the political leaders thing the growth of nation is their goal than the power and personal maters the condition will be change.
the people also laible to the growth of the nation

There definitely will be change if more and more people participate in the democratic process called voting for the right candidate.
And the vote for a candadidate should be on the issues rather than the party/religion or promises made
