Really depends on how much money you have to spend. A new motherboard has to be compatible with all your parts or you will need new ones. I can help you but I need more info, drop me an e-mail with how much you are looking to spend and the specs of your current parts, CPU, RAM, and hard drive.

Check on the bottom or the back of the box of the game it will have the specifications. Now if you meet the specs you have a virus or spy ware. Next if you don't meet the specs check on line with the computer maker and go to the support downloads page and it should have manuals on your computer. The manual will tell you the max RAM and processor speed you can run. Personally I would not recommend getting another motherboard and if you get more RAM just make sure your system can support it. Also the video card is very important. Most video cards that come with computers won't support games like that. Putting a new motherboard is not easy unless you know what you are doing Anyway If you want start playing these games I would recommend just saving up and buying a gaming machine that can handle the newer games. I know a new computer is expensive but it's worth it to play some of these new games. By the way you should check out Axis and Allies awesome game! Hope I helped

Screw buying a new motherboard, for what they cost, you are better off replacing your whole damn computer. You probably have a zillion cookies and Internet files that need to be deleted because like so many other kids you probably have never heard the phrase "routine computer maintenance". Perform the maintenance, and if it still runs like shizit I suggest this. There are only 5 things you need to play today's games, a monitor 20 inches or more, a powerful video and sound card, lots of RAM, and a Pentium 4 or higher. Your local computer retailer can help you pick out all that crap. Happy gaming!!!

Sure, Clear History, Defrag, Clear Cookies, and dump all the files you have saved you rarely access, or put them on disk.
The more you can get out of documents, and the more software you rarely or never use you can dump the cleaner your HD and the faster your computer will run.
If you do all that and you are still running slow, check for virus.
If you do that to no end, and are still running slow, consider purchasing more ram.

Consider this suff below:
Processor - The faster the processor, the higher the performance when it comes to some equation. Laymans term: Faster is better
Memory - Higher memory faster the cacheing of data. Laymans term More is better.
Video Card - It controls the graphics handling especially when it comes to 3 dimensional images. Laymans Term Higher memory, better core, faster bandwidth (pciE) the much more beter it performs in 3d applications.

You should get an Athlon x2 processor, Asus motherboard, 1 GB 800Mhz ddr2 ram, and a Radeon x1900. These are the best value/performance midrange parts for a gaming system.

One piece of advice. If you are going to ask someone what an error message means, you need to tell the person EXACTLY what the error message says. Saying "I need a new dll or something" does not give us what we need to give you a good answer. There are so many different .dll files out there that there is no way for us to narrow it down without your help. Since it is not affecting the computer, I would not worry about it. But if you want to know how to fix it, or what is causing it, you would need to give us the exact error.
