How do you record videos from the internet?

I need details what equipment do I need to record and how do I record movies and clips onto a disc so I can play them in my DVD player also would you please mention the websites I can record free or cheap movies and clips off of?

Well, you can leech some direcly o a site. If it says mpeg, you just just download it by geting the source. Then paste to any downloader (i reccommend flashget since its free). If you cant seem to get the video from the resource, try searching download.com for some solutions.
