Anything that makes you hot can increase your temperature, so soaking in a hot tub is OK unless you are running a significant temperature. Even then you can do it, but just don't make the water temperature real hot.

Fever is what cooks the bug and kills it. It's not a bad thing to soak in a hot tub, however, you need to keep an eye on your fever. An adult shouldn't let their fever get to out of hand. I start to feel nervous if mine hits a little over 102. I'm in my early 40's. Have you taken any Ibuprophen or Tylenol? Some people like to take a dose of Nyquil. It lets you sleep and feel better all at once. I can't take it so I don't know for sure. Also, eat some chicken soup. Maybe your parent can make some for you? It really does help. There's research on it even, you can look it up. I hope you feel better soon.

NO STAY OUT OF THE WATER. Chills tells me you're running a fever so it COULD BE the flu. Don't matter. When I've felt like that, I've sometimes gone to sleep or passed out. You don't want to drown.
Equally important is that you need to be drinking fluids regularly, and not be distracted by the bath or worse yet dehydrate more. Get a cold wet wash rag for your head and face. It'll feel good temporarily.
GOOD LUCK. Let us know when you get well.

Yeah, you have the stomach flu. There is a drug that will stop your throwing up. I believe it is called Compazine. When you have that in your system, you will need to drink lots of fluids as your body can get dehydrated which is dangerous. Eating a banana is good to boost your potassium level. Once your body is rid of whatever triggered the flu, you will be somewhat exhausted. Try and get some rest, sleep, and you should OK in a day or two.

A hot bath shouldn't hurt as long as you don't have a high fever. It certainly sounds like the flu to me. Try getting some cold and flu tablets at any drug store or walmart, as long as you are at home and can relax get get some nyquill, will make you sleepy, but rest is healing.

Pepermint tea for the tummy, ibuprophen for the body aches and a hot bath, straight in bed for the chills. Remember the fluids. You will feel better soon.

Make it as hot as you can stand it and add some ginger fresh is best but whatever you have on the kitchen will work and a bottle of hydrogen peroxide. Soak for 20 minutes and go to bed. It helps detox the body.

I am guessing you just have a bad tummy flu. I dont see why you cant jump in a bath. I would not have it too hot tho. I would curl up with my comfy comforter on the couch in front of the tv and sleep. You need to sweat this thing out.

As long as you're not running a fever it should be ok....try to take in as much clear fluids as you can tolerate....at least throwing up clear fluids is a little easier than dry heaving.....an antihistamine like Benadryl can help calm your stomach...probably have a 24 hour flu....sometimes it just takes time and rest...I feel for yah!
