I'm putting a house up for rent and I need ideas on where people look into, the newspaper didn't seem to work that good.

list it with a realtor. Even though there is a charge it's well worth your while as they do the background check and credit check to before the new renter has ample income to make payments. If you pay them a little more they will take care of all other matters for you (like if the ac or heat fails the realtor will call maintenance for you).

attempt putting an ad interior the paper putting ahead only that, yet you'll both get ripped off or you'll locate someone very stupid. i does no longer be mad sufficient to employ an section out to someone who does no longer pay a deposit. might want to you in case you owned a house? heavily? So if each body furnish you with can assume they are pricing the shortcoming of a deposit into the employ. Or they'd be daft.

Yep, the newspaper, but what's really important is HOW you list it. No 3BR, 2 BA, FRPLC! Can we say "BOR-ing!"?

Try: "Lonely house seeks family to adopt. Prefers three or more persons at least one of whom enjoys hiking."

I GAR-OWN-TEE you will get calls!

PS: This is how I sold my 20 yr old car for the asking price to the first caller.

I've always used a realtor...they do the screening and showing for a small fee. Always seem to find a good tenant quite rapidly.
