I miss the old days when there was no hockey. Don't get me wrong I appreciate the athleticism in hockey. These guys are great skaters and can really handle the puck but come on, the best scorers make less than 10% of their shots and that's an inflated percent because of lucky bounces and poor goalie play. Give me a call when the playoffs start, maybe I watch then but can't make any promises.

When it comes to the playoffs, I wonder why so many 8 seeds beat number 1 seeds???? I'm thinking it's the luck factor.

Rock, Paper, Scissors is soley based on luck, because there is no strategy, gameplan or required athleticism. It's a three-sided coin, really.

I think that rock/paper/scissors has more luck. Mainly because each player has a 1 in 3 chance of beating their opponent. While in a sport like hockey, the reason they make only 10% of their shots is due to the skill of the opponents and especially the goalie. There is luck involved in hockey but it takes a lot of skill to make a goal.

Of those three, hockey has the greatest amount of skill (least luck). Rock, paper, scissors is psychological, so it also contains some simple skills in reading people.

So, I guess tiddly-winks would be my choice for the most amount of luck, when you consider the players. If you go pro, well, that's another matter. Who do you think will win the finals this year?

I understand the sarcasm...but goalies have been getting better and better. It's gotta be pretty hard to get that little puck past one of them into that little net...
