i checked all of the connections and turned it to the right channel...is it a hardware problem? The xbox is only almost a year old..

the video and audio cables are plugged into the right ports...and i tried a different av cable, but it still wasnt working

make sure you have the yellow wire plugged in to the yellow port

Make sure the cable for the video is going in the back of the television, and the other end is going into your Xbox.

Try blowing the video port clean and then inserting it back in.

Did you try the Xbox console with other games?

wow u lucky da sound comes on mines da game couldn't be reconize of its game it said it was dirty or damage and i had it for like 3 months. maybe u need to get a new xbox cuz everyone i kno dat got an xbox is messed up

either a wire isn't completely plugged in or some is plugged into the wrrong port

if your tv only has 2 holes then try pluging the yellow or red wires into the yellow hole or the red hole but if you have three holes on your tv then check if their in the right holes and there pluged in properly.
