Fuel consisting of the remains of organisms preserved in rocks in the earth's crust with high carbon and hydrogen content is said to be a fossil fuel right,and it can be stopped only when the resource is empty

Probably when the supply of fossil fuels has run out or when the costs of using other sources of energy are economically favorable compared with traditional gasoline. (i.e. when using something like electric cars, with all their tradeoffs, is cheaper than pumping gasoline into your car)

The technology for an alternative power source for vehicles is close to "perfect". The only problem they encountered was that, they dont know how to dispose of the battery pack without damaging the environment. It may take a while.
