I went to their concert tonight and everyone chanted Chata. They dedicated 'Begin Again' to the 'demons down below'

what makes you say that , i have never heard anything referred to or about the devil.. by shinedown no they do not worship the devil...

I saw this band for the first time on TV last night. I could not tell what the lyrics were by the singing, but they looked kind of evil to me, so I did some searching. I found nothing connecting them to Devil worship.
That being said, this band doesn't exactly glorify God either. Why do I say that? Could it be all of the tattoos, or the sound of their music, or just the way they carry themselves on stage?
They look rather dark to me, are their lyrics uplifting and positive, or are they depressing and talking about stuff like suicide, and drugs etc. If they are your typical party hard and enjoy the drugs type of rock band, then I would caution as to how much you want to let them influence your life. These are just musicians trying to push their product and make a living at it, obviously very successful too. Only time will tell what their future holds, and what journey their souls are on, they just don't look like a good influence to me.

I don't like their music, but I wouldn't say they worshp the devil. So no.

I don't know... but I really do enjoy listening to their music. They rock!

no, they don't. they write their lyrics from experience and just feelings that people go through during their life.
