Good question, to me both sides promote terrorism in their attempts to play their sides contributions as just., They each subscribe to an interpretation of the news that leans towards vilification of the others motives while diluting any negative aspects that may put a bad spin on their "pure & honourable" intentions. One will say, "there was considerable colateral damage", while the other side will claim, "It was a complete massacre". By inflaming the readers own views to match their own published ones, the media (on both sides) can then go on sensationalising to their hearts content, while laughing all the way to the bank. Why cares about facts when they can make a fortune playing on peoples fears and keeping everyone on the edge of there seats with panic and B/S, in the end its tention that sells, not peace!!

All media outlets are biased one way or another. In the UK the popular press if they have no news stories will make them up. Quite often these have no basis of truth but are intended to shock and stir up fears. It sells newspapers and that is all they are concerned about. I have no doubt that the Muslim media will be generally anti westerners. I would not go as far as to say this promotes terrorism except in the more extreme publications. Media people very rarely will put out stories of good news. It is not profitable. Peoples basic nature wants stories of scandal and the like. The media has an awful lot to answer for.

I think the United States media is promotiong terrorism....think about it.... the media in the United States thrives on sensationalism, which often scares the viewing audience. If people are living in fear, because of what they are being told by the media, then the terrorist really do not have to do much work at all....the media has already done it for them.

The Muslim media may foster or intensify the hatred but, don't forget these hatreds originate in the madrases. The kids are taught from an early age to hate westerners. Making every one of them potential terrorists.

In case you may have missed it, the US recently demanded that Saudi Arabia discontinue their diatribe in the text books, for school kids.

Restraining media, sure that sounds like a great Muslim solution restrain the media. Restrain dress, freedom everything that does not fit into your little world. This is what we are fighting against. Restrain media, give me a break.
