Media stereotypes are indirectly responsible for a large percentage of teenagers who are anorexic. The wannabe models emulate their TV role models by purposely make themselves ill for the sake of vanity. Glossy 'girlie' Mag's are just as full of the anorexic 'beautys' because they think that's what the public want to see. Well not this member of the public doesn't. It's about time these people who perpetuate this false image of beauty, were held accountable for their actions.
Finally Kate Moss should never of been seen in the media ever again over her cocaine scandal. Unfortunately she's probably more famous now than before. What a SAD World we live in.

I like thin women but I think now advertising is going a little overboard. When a woman loses her shape due to being too thin I think it's a little extreme. I recently saw a very thin woman in a store and my friend pointed her out saying that she was attractive. I really thought that she was too thin and told him that I would worry about breaking her. It's all opinion and people find it easier to go to extremes rather than try to get a balance.

I dont find it attractive at all. But I remeber highschool and the pressure to look like that, the message it gives to our kids is what is really scary. I am 25 and my daughter is 8, I still feel the pressure now however I have learned that I need to be happy with me, and not to woory about what other people think. I worry for my daughter as she is getting to the age when the 'clicks' take over, your not cool unless you wear tommy hilfiger in a size 0. If that person who is anorexic looking is happy with themselves who am I to judge, but dont plaster that message everywhere for our children too see. The most imortant thing we can teach our kids both boys and girls is to be happy with themselves, and all that matters is what they think of themselves.

Yes, I find it attractive. Advertisers don't just put skinny women on because they like it...they are on because over 50% of the people that watch the commercials like it.
