Well she certainly isn't going to get "Teacher of the Year". But why stop at just wearing make-up? She needs to understand that the best way to teach science courses like say "biology" is by showing a little T&A! Children are the future and teachers really need to start going that extra mile:)

Right now your son is receiving out patient treatment. Have any of the psychiatrists suggested in-patient treatment? I know he's only 6 but it might be necessary to 'jump start' the treatment if you know what I mean. Has he been labeled as 06 (emotionally disturbed)? He might need a level 5 program or even a level 6 program at school. If he continues to hit the kids and teachers, he will be put in a level 5 program but he needs the label first. Find out which schools in your district have a level 5 program.Level 6 programs are located in private facilities. Abilify is a strange choice of medication for him. That is usually used for teenagers. Children don't respond well to Abilify as it can heightens their aggressive side. I will get a lot of thumb downs for this but here it goes: Perhaps you need to focus less on school and more on his psychological well being. Remove him from school and focus on daily psychiatric treatment or send him to an in-house psychiatric facility. Talk to his psychiatrists about this. The school counselors are not allowed to make these suggestions even if they think it's best. Being held back by one year isn't the end of the world so please consider this. If his behavior does not improve, you will be forced to make some hard and painful decisions. I'm sure you already realize this. Obviously you can not allow your son to terrorize and threaten the emotional and physical well being of his siblings. He will have to be removed from the house and placed in a group home, permanent hospital or foster care. What is your husband's role in all of this?

If you mean she's scary ugly and your sons so scared of her that he hides in the closet until class s over, than maybe you should have him change classes. My science teacher was hot and I could hardly concentrate, but you know what it comes down to.......Its is his grade that matters not, that shes ugly or hot or 10 feet tall.He needs to make the grade not the other way around.
If you want to help him, make him understand that the world is full of many different people. Ugly people maybe grading him for the rest of his life...his transcript is not going to read "F" but given by an ugly teacher so let him into Yale. My best advise would be get him a tutor. Don't buy into the excuses your children give you. Excuses get you no where. Just try to get him more help.

Your son is not there to admire the teacher. You would not have the same response if your son's teacher was a male. Why does your standard for your son's education change dependednt on the gender of the teacher? Either your son will try hard or not. Perhaps you should demand that he be switched to a class with a male teacher...then your whole sexist attitude won't be a problem any longer.

what does that have to do with anything? Are you trying to blame your son's grades on the way somebody else looks, that only if she looks attractive he will listen. Well here is a bit of news for you. He may be looking at her, but I doubt he would be paying attention if his teacher was hot. You need to take a closer look at your son and make him accountable for his actions. It is his grade his work. If he does the work he will get his grade, nobody else can do it for him. Stop being his friend, and be his parent. Teach him self discipline before he grows up and is constantly begging you for money and living job to job. Start now before it is too late!

Looks mean nothing. I've had many teachers that were definitely not appealing but I still was inclined to do very well in their class. Besides, do you honestly expect your son's bosses (or clients, however things end up) to be all pretty chicks? Keep dreaming, it's not going to happen. He needs to do his best regardless of how the others dress .

Um...wow...I don't think you can blame someone's unfortunate looks on your son's difficulty in science. Are we in a world of only beautiful people?? Wait let me look out the window...absolutely not I just saw 3 ugly people. I think it's time to look to your son and find out what the deal is. If he's only going to be productive with pretty people, then he's in for an unsuccessful life. There's probably more going on.

Are you for real? The teacher is not an entertainer or a model. Her job is to impart information and your son's job is to do his work. He needs to take responsibility for his own education. I'm a teacher and I thought I had heard it all, but your remarks take the prize for being ridiculous.
I just checked this person's past questions. It seem like he or she enjoys posing totally obnoxious questions. Ignore them from now on.

Motivation is one of the building blocks of success. You must, I repeat must, make the teacher understand that. If she would just throw a little, you know, womanly attraction out to the class your son would not only work harder, he would have harder wood. MOTIVATION! That's what I'm talking about.
