Depends on whether I am being chased by a cop and his dog, or not.

I ran in highschool and my fastest 400m was about 54 sec.
The 400m is interesting in that it's too far for the sprinters and
requires too much speed for the distance runners. I was more of a distance runner ...but liked the 400m occassionally because all the sprinters died at about 300m and I could then blow by them.
Top level 400m times are in the mid 40 sec. .

You got me... How many people have even ran a 400m dash other than those in track meet... Any idea how long it would take to walk the 400 meters..

My fastest in high school was about 70 seconds, but now it takes about 2 mins. I'm not a sprinter - I do better with the mile and up.

65 seconds. I'm not a very fast guy when it comes to middle sprints. 100 meters? sure. 400 meters? Death for me. Mile and up please.
