I think theyre interesting. I know theres a band called Parmalee, and I bet its the name of a town or city.
It's pretty, and unique, and I'm assuming that's what you're going for. I like both names! I think splitting up Emmalee like that takes away the uniquness, which some people like, because its more common. But if it were me, I'd want to keep it the way it is! Good names!
you could come up with some cute nicknames too... and if they have issues with their names later, they can always be Pam and Emily... but still have a unique name because of the spelling. I think theyre good names

The girl named Parmalee was likely named after a family last name. People occasionally do that and that is a common last name where I live in Connecticut. It sounds very nice to me. Much better than the poor girl in my high school who's first name was Douglas, after her mother's family name, I think. As for Emmalee or Emma Lee, it's really a matter of personal choice, but I would go with Emmalee if you also plan to give her a middle name. Saves confusion. Although she will always be correcting people because when she's introduced to someone, the person will think she said Emily.

It can be spelled Emmalee or Emma Lee or Ema Lee or Emily, it just depends on however you want to spell it. I myself don't like Parmalee, sounds like a cheese, that is probably why it's so unpopular. But if you want to name your girl that, then go for it. It's not like it's a horrible name, and you could make up one anyway if you wanted to, it's all up to you. But one thing though, I'm sure that your wife (future?) would have something to say about that too...lol.

Do not rhyme your twins names together, it will scar them for life. Yes it is cute when there little, but not when there in High School and your daughter is about to get asked out by a guy and she says her name is Emmalee and later in the conversation introduces her twin sister Parmalee.

I've never heard the name Parmalee, but I went to school with a girl named Pamalee. I don't want to sound rude, but Parmalee reminds me of parmesan cheese!

i've never heard it before but these days seems as if you can name your kid pretty much anything. i do like it though and as for the emmalee thing, are you trying to name them Emma Lee or are you trying a different spelling of Emily cuz that is what it sounds like to me when you make it as one word.

It's your babies, name them what you like. I think Emmalee is prettier as one word. I've never seen it spelt that way, but different is good. You can look up the meaning and orgin of names at babynames.com. That's how I found out that Avery is a boy/girl name. So I named my son Avery.
