I surely love cricket than any other games. I love it because I have played the game from when I was child till now. Most of the people in my country(India) love cricket. It might be because anything we love to do or like when a child is what we commonly like when we become big also, except for some. Sometimes their surrounding would be like that. Try to think of yourself, sometimes you may get some things you like now and when you was a child. There is a cricket legend called Sachin Tendulkar, he also liked cricket when he was even a child. In the school he was studying, there was no cricket. Because of his intrest in the game, his father rejoined him to a school where cricket was taught. I think you got some kind of point from this paragraph.

Some people (including me) love cricket very much because they think it is a very interesting game and in some countries it happens almost weekly once or more than that. So the people in those countries love cricket very much. Like that there are many reasons why the people love cricket very much.
Is it enough or do you need some other reasons?
If you need more reasons you can ask the people who is fully interested in cricket because they will be knowing why the love cricket very much.

"Cricket is said to be the game of uncertainty", I love the game of cricket, because It's interesting throughout. those who understand this game, are immersed into it, and enjoy it ball to ball. In a good fought cricket match there is never a dull moment, there is something happening on each and every ball. This uncertainty on every ball is the most romantic part of this game, It is always said that no game is finished until the last ball is balled. I love cricket so much, but I also know that it's not popular beyond some 10-15 cricket playing countries, there are other games more popular than this. namely-soccer, and tennis.
There are other things that have helped cricket popularized in Indian subcontinent. The lousy Indians who were zero in all the other sports, at once won the 1993 cricket world cup, It had an electric effect in a country who had almost forgot to win in other popular games like hockey. It was a time, when Television was popularizing in India, Television used cricket as a means to popularize it self, and cricket used Television to popularize itself. Soon the Advertisers and corporates joined this band-wagon, and the game became popular like never before. This Cricket-fever soon caught grip in all the Indian Sub-continent...that's Pakistan, Srilanka and Bangladesh too.

Cricket is a great game to watch. If you do not know the rules I understand why people could think that it is boring but once you understand the rules and get to know some of the players then you will be hooked.
It is a game of great skill and concentration. It is also very much a mind game as bowlers can psych out batsmen and play on their insecurities especially if they are having a poor run of form. It is also very tactical.
If you are not already a fan go to a few matches with somebody who is and get them to explain the rules to you and I bet you will soon become hooked.

actually, cricket is the biggest boring game and as well as most interesting game. it is like slow poison. duration of cricket match is very long, unlike other games. it is not crazy game like foot ball or tennis. but at some time in the match it gives kick like a drug. europeons and americans do not like cricket, because the duration of match. finally, cricket should be crazy in the whole world when the duration of the match reduced. ie instead of test matches and 50 overs matches, there should be 20 or 25 overs matches. other drawback of cricket is playing of matches between only 2 countries is very bad (ie ashes series...etc). in other games there is no this type of culture, all teams should play a tournment quarterly or half yearly like a west indies cup or south african cup or indian cup..etc.

I am a cricket fan and I love it because I am idle and I have nothing to do. It's a game for idle people. It's a waste of time if you are a person with some aim.

well i realy dont know why i love cricket....after 1992 world cup when we won the title,i started taking interst in it, infact 1992 world cup final was the first match which i watched for the frist time n though i was not getting anything whts goign aroud but i didnt miss it,........now i dont miss esp if it is played by my national team, one reason that can be that its generaly more played , more watched n more discussed game in asia, so obviously one start taking interst which turn into love for this game, secondly there is no other good choices for us to choose , crciket is flourishing in our streets n when u just g around by the road u wud see kids playing only cricket, n yes media !!! its giving more projection to this game n kids get inspiration, but above all i must say this is a game to be liked n loved,
