Yeah, I would say that is pretty hardcore. You will tear up everything and even get good detail in oblivion with that stuff. I especially want that xfi sound card for my system, but I'm broke right now. The only thing is I'm not sure if the Core 2 duo is as good as the athlon am2. I tend to lean toward amd nowadays, even though intel tends to have a slight edge in the $1000 processors. In the 2 to 300 dollar range, amd usually has the edge. I don't know about that brand of ram either. I would go with crucial, corsair or kingston. The ram is the most trouble-prone part of a system build, so I go with the tried and true brands. Those are my thoughts, but I would love build that system, it should definitely feed your fragging cravings.

it is an X58 motherboard. you desire a P67 motherboard for an i7 2600K (for overclocking it is) i could choose for the 6990 Radeon in my opinion because it has much less subjects than the GTX 590. flow with the two 4-8 GB of RAM in view that Sandy Bridge makes use of twin channel, no longer tri. a good variety 750 watt-800 PSU could means that nicely basically 5% or so of 2600Ks are in a position to be clocked to 5 ghz, yet you're able to have the means to realize 4.4-4.5 without difficulty. Mine is at the instant good with good temps on 4.5 ghz. Mine won't boot at 4.9 nonetheless

Yea that looks like a great system, but I would buy a Dell XPS instead. It's a pain to have to deal with all the seperate warranties when you build your own system... I know, I used to do it. My last two systems have been Dells and I couldn't be happier. The Dell XPS 700 is awesome!

i am also into xtreme gaming technology. I recommend getting dell xps which i currently use. That looks good as well. I suggest 4gb of ram for maximum insane perfomance.

Most of it is tops. but why only go with 1GB of memory? Go with 2GB memory. Drop the Intel Processor as well and go with AMD. AMD has superior performance and overclocking statistics compared to Intel.
