The first team to win three consecutive World Series was the New York Yankees from 1936 to 1938 and the Oakland Athletics won the World Series three consecutive times in a row from 1972 to 1974 and I was wondering which American League Baseball Team will be the first team to win the consectuve World Series in a row.

The "consecutive" world series?

Is that something bud selig slipped in and didnt tell us?

Or is it winning 3 games in one series and then being classified as the winner, opposed to the normal 4 games it takes to win a world series?

You already said NY was the first team to win 3 consecutive WS, and then Oakland (which ANY REAL baseball fan already knows), so how can a American League be the "first" team to win Consecutive world series, when it's already been done?

perhaps if you stated this question in which a person could answer, you might actually get a real answer.

Well, I don't think that this year will be the year for an American League team to win.....My personal opinion is that the Cardinals have it in the bag this year.....but that's just me.....Go Cards!
