I only remember having 20 dollars in my account, but I have 10 times the amount when I went to go check how much my balance was. I haven't made a deposit in months so I don't know where the money came from. Any suggestions.

If you are definitely sure the money is not yours, then contact your bank. The money most likely belongs to someone else who has a similar name or account number as yours. They just haven't realized that the money is missing. Sometimes depending on how often the other person checks their balances, they may not know anything about this. Just don't use it until your bank verifies that the money is yours. Be honest about it and you'll feel better knowing that you did the "right" thing.

Your account might pay interest and that might be why your balance is higher. You can send me and my baby some of that money if you don't know what to do with it.

just check with the bank and ask them for a list of all transactions for a specific time period (i.e., for the past month), that will show you when the money was placed into your account and from what source it was revceived.

I would take the money and spend it on very important things like food.

a check or payment that you paid by check did not clear your account.....check your ledger and balance your statement and you will find the mistake...............

Call the bank. If you don't do it, trust me, they will catch the error eventually.
