Does a booger on a pinky count towards that genuine physical anomaly?

Absolutely. Quantim physics is one such anomaly. The universe includes such anomalies so it is not a question of existing in the presence of such.

Many apparent paradoxes can be resolved by nothing that they are either statements about statements (e.g., "This statement is a lie") and not about reality, or they are structural contradictions, in which case we dismiss them as physical impossibilities. On the microscopic level of quantum mechanics, some paradoxes may exist (particles existing in two places at once, etc.) but they are not significant enough to make a difference on the macroscopic level, and a difference that makes no difference is no difference.
