One would think that someone who is so analytical of the news agencies would be posting questions about how ABC let out the identity of the page IM'd by Foley, but let's not be non-partisan for a moment. Fox News did say D-Fl on it's photos according to some websites. I work for a living so don't get to watch Fox News non-stop and didn't catch it. I only watch Brit Hume on Fox anyways, who always said he was a Republican.

O'Reilly Factor, the disgraced Republican congressman was labeled in an on-screen graphic as a Democrat (D-FL). "There were three instances... each cutaway about 15 seconds or more." Take that reality!

This whole discussion is bogus.

Sexual predators are predators - plain and simple - it's not because they're Republicans or Democrats or any other political affiliation - it's because they have twisted and demented sexual preferences, period.

How dumb is it to equate Foley with all republicans: Let me show you -

Ted Kennedy is an alcoholic - Ted Kennedy is a democrat - hence all democrats are alcoholics.

See how dumb that logic is?

There are no cheer leaders other than FOX. Sometimes the major networks and papers will side with BushCo., but nobody doe it better than FOX. They've got the loudmouths there like O'Lielly and Hannity--nice company to be in.

in_moes_honest_opinion, you hit the nail on the head! There was no excusing that mistake. I think FOX let that one slip for their gullible viewers.

I've been combing their website, and I see no evidence that they misrepresented his party at all, let alone deliberately. Sounds like you're trying to make a mountain out of a mole hill here.

Anyway, since we're on the subject, I thought the "October surprise", which is what this story looks more and more to be, was going to benefit Republicans. Isn't that what you left-wingers have been telling us all along?

Umm... ok. You might google "included question" and "logic".

In any event - do you have a link for this? I hadn't heard that they'd called him a Democrat. If so, it was either a simple mistake or an incredibly lame attempt at a coverup, considering that pretty much every news show I've seen or heard (including Hannity) identified him as a Republican.

There is no proof whatever at this time that Mark Foley is a pedophile or that he has sexually molested anyone but, even so, he has resigned. Probably he is a sick person, but your "question" clearly shows that you are just as bad.

It's because fox is basically just advertising for republicans , they won't put almost anything that puts the republicans in a situation .
