Layers of society could be based on wealth, education, rural or Urban. Each of these groups would perceive the messages differently. hence there is no set rule or pattern in all of them. If, however,one can be specific about the group then one can draw some inference about the way the levels of people would respond.

Just to cite a simple example, an information about "stress" and the messages relating to that would be viewed with far more concern by an Urban society than a rural one. The rich will view it with alarm and the poor will brush it aside

All people, regardless of strata of society respond from the same given criteria: prejudice, ignorance, and fear.
