I am thinking about purchasing the program for my daughter and wanted to know if anyone have tried it? If so, was it effective and what's your thoughts about the program.?

I was on HoP as a kid during my 2nd-3rd grade years. I don't know how much it's changed, but I'd say it was a definite help. It helped me enunciate my words more clearly, and it was presented in a way that made sense to me. I'd definitely vouch that HoP is a reliable method of training younger children to speak more clearly.

O yes! Huked awn Foniks iz graat if spelling, punkchuachun and graamer are unimportant. Spell lyke it sounds, nawt lyke it is. U see lisense plates lyke this awl the tyme.
Seriously - My 2 Nieces have been home schooled their entire lives (One just started college, the other is 15) and went with standard Grammars. They both have friends who can sound out a word, but can't spell or construct a reasonable sentence worth a damn.

We purchased it for our son and it appears to be a really wonderful program; he used it for a short time and teenage years set in.
You are going to think I'm a nut, but I would be glad to give this to you and when you are done, pass it along to someone else who might need it; it is quite expensive and I truly think people should make a positive difference where you can; this would be with the condition of helping someone else along the way. What do you think?
