I have dated this guy for about 3 years on and off...even though we broke up often we always made our way back to one another. Now I moved away to college and we lost contact over the summer but we recently got back in contact with each other. He told me that he loved me and missed me and that his life wasnt the same without me around. Is this love? If not then what is it? Guys dont usually call girls and tell them things like this. How should I take this?

When I first met my husband, even though we both had significant others, I knew that we would be together. When I think of my soulmate (my husband) I cannot see myself ever being without him. We can barely spend a weekend away from each other and when we do, we call each other at least twice a day. If you can't see yourself ever being with someone else, or if that person would die, you would die of a broken heart, you've found your solemate.

I think that he mjust might be your soulmate... You will know.. and he will know.. If you are far away from him though.. it is very difficult and there is always the possibility that he would meet someone else and you also.. Being away is difficult and unless you can be together, you and he both would never know for sure.

Well, I don't know how he feels but, I don't think you are in love. If someone is your soulmate, you will know it and not have to ask.
