can a plastation 1 gameshark insert and work into the plastation 2 console? can plastation 1 GAMES work in the plastation 2 console?

Playstation 1 Gameshark does NOT work on Playstation 2 console. 2) Playstation 1 Games DOES work on Playstation 2. I hope this helps.

yes ps1 games will work on a ps2 and so will the gameshark but you can only use it for the ps1 games and you will need a ps1 memory card to save ps1 games
