what did the native mexican's use to get around?
since Hernán Cortés brought the first 16 horses to america.
the Aztec's called them riding deer.
so how did they get around?

They carried everything themselves. Supposedly they might have used dogs as pack animals too. They had the wheel--they made wheeled children's toys--but without a draft animal a cart is useless; humans can't pull like draft animal can. Plus a lot of terrain was hilly or swampy; easier to walk carrying a load than drag a cart.
