I guess that's what they want to believe...or they just think that if they keep saying this, it will finally become true. Hey if it makes them happy, let the people enjoy.

Because I think were the only country with "liberty for all" arent we? Liberty is having freedom... only with limits. You cant have total freedom, then people could walk around killings eachother and not be in trouble. We have enough freedom for people to live happily and comfortably, so why does it matter? You should be happy for what freedom you have. Not to be rude, but if someone doesnt like it then they can always go to another country. Dont critcize America for what freedoms we have and what we think, we have the right to believe were the most free, We were the very first country with freedoms like this.

Who indeed,, sure you have freedom of speech, freedom of the press, freedom of assembly, freedom of religion and all the other freedoms you actively associate with being peculiar only to the USA well friends there are other countries with as much freedom , Australia, New Zealand to name just 2

have you ever read the words to The Star Spangled Banner, or read the Declaration of Independence or the Constitution?; freedom is the foundation of the American ethos. Of course, Americans are far from free, but they can't seem to see the trees for the forest right now.

Because it is the land of freedom. Sadly, though, a lot of Americans think they can get away with a lot of things because of this freedom.

Because there americans...lol im not sure,i geuss all the land of the free stuff make them think that.alos i dont think the average american knows much of other countries.
by the way im an american to.
I'd like to go to norway sometime.i bet it owuld be nice to live there.They have a higher literacy rate then the u.s to =p
